Oaks Park is a small amusement park in Portland, Oregon, United States.
The park opened in May 1905 and is one of the country's oldest continually operating amusement parks.
Many of the current and former attractions like Screamin' Eagle appeared in the movie as do the trailer Randolph resides while the roller skating rink served as the entrance to the aquatic theater where Willy was held captive in a tank which was shot, the so-called " establishing" shots.

Reino Aventura ("Adventure Kingdom" in Spanish) was an amusement park located in Tlalpan, Mexico City. It opened to the public on March 3, 1982, as the biggest amusement park in Latin America. The park closed on April 11, 2000.
In 1992 while the Park underwent significant reconstruction and improvements. "Keiko", the Orca that would later play the lead role in the motion picture"Free Willy" as "Willy." Keiko was purchased from Marineland of Canada in Ontario, Canada. Later Keiko (Willy) was bought by Michael Jackson as a birthday present for his sister Janet Jackson.
In 1993 the feature film was shot in the park.
It was the shots from the Movie where Willy was held captive in a tank. These were the interior scenes, where, among other things, the tank leaked and burst, but also where Jesse fed Willy and learned tricks.
In March 1999, Premier Parks, the holding company for all the Six Flags theme parks, announced the purchase of Reino Aventura for an estimated $59 million. The park then underwent a major reconstruction, which cost approximately $40 million, and was reopened to the public on April 14, 2000, as Six Flags Mรฉxico.
Keiko died unexpectedly on December 12, 2003, probably from pneumonia, after he was released on September 9, 1998, in Norway in a Fjord.
