Travis Larson also known as 'Larzland' is a huge Disney fan, so much so that he recreated Disney Fantasyland - attraction facade in his basement. You'll see "Snow White's Scary Adventures," "Peter Pan's Flight," "Geppetto's Workshop," "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" and the "Village Haus Restaurant." Behind the facade are the laundry room and also his daughter's bedroom. It even plays queue audio including ambient sounds from visitors. About a year ago his project was almost finished and YouTube Vlogger Adam the Woo visited him a year ago to have a look.
𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭...Travis was great and partly had to teach herself certain techniques. How to imitate certain bricks, stained glass, and also wooden doors?
He also researched how Disney has applied design techniques and made it as real as possible.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨...That Fantasyland also has a day and night function? Larsen can illuminate all facades in an evening setting and make the room dark, and the ambient sounds also turn into evening sounds.
Do some people wonder if there are real attractions there? No there aren't.
Larson has taken 3 to 4 years to get this project as it is today.
