In the millennium year 2000, Walibi Wavre started with Halloween for the first time. During 3 weekends in October, the park immediately received a crowd of people. As a result, it was decided in 2001 to extend the Halloween theme to the holiday season of All Saints' Day. Thanks to the Halloween event, the holiday week has become the most visited time of the year.
From 2002 SixFlags Belgium threw in the bigger resources.
SixFlags Belgium launched some custom haunted houses with the theme Dracula and the graveyard of the scarecrows. From 2008, the Halloween events in Walibi Belgium got a storyline that continued every year. In 2015, the storyline will come to an end and there will be no fixed ongoing theme.
