On Christmas Eve, in 19th-century London, Charles Dickens (played by Gonzo the Great) and his friend Rizzo act as narrators throughout the film. Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine), a cold-blooded, ill-tempered, and selfish moneylender, does not share the merrymaking of Christmas.

An indoor park designed by; Gerry O'Sullivan-Beare in the 1970s, he also designed 'Santa World in Sweden and 'Andersen World in Copenhagen. The park opened on May 25, 2007. The park told the story of Charles Dickens and had a few great attractions, including a boat ride called; 'The Great Expectations', the boat ride also had several points on which the boat could turn. Furthermore, the park had a 4D theater, and a haunted house, and there was also an animatronic show. The park attracted about 300,000 visitors a year, Charles Dickens World closed on October 12, 2016.

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 ...The sets in the park were also used for movies and TV shows. Among other things; 'The Hoosiers' used Dickens World as the location for the video 'Cops and Robbers' from their fourth single in March 2008.

Part of this building is now used by the restaurant chain 'Nando's.'

Pinewood Studios is also known for designing and engineering the 'Peppa Pig World' and 'Lost Kingdom' themed areas in Paultons Park.
