Tri-Circle-D Ranch is the stables where the Horses of Walt Disney World are kept, which are used for Shows, Weddings, or a ride on the main street USA, also the Horses of Cinderella and of other Princes or princesses.
And they are used also for the Parades.
The Tri-Circle-D Ranch has been around since 1971, it was one of the first buildings on the Disney property to open even before Walt Disney World opened on October 1, 1971. You can just visit it as an outsider.
Located in The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, Lake Buena Vista, United States.
The ranch is divided into two main portions the trail riding stables at the resort's main entrance. And the working horse stables deeper in the Fort Wilderness complex.
Walk through the stables to see Cinderella's Ponies and the majestic horses of Main Street, U.S.A.
Discover the Dragon Calliope the horse-drawn musical instrument that Walt Disney purchased for the Mickey Mouse Club Circus Parade at Disneyland Park in the 1950s.
Animal lovers of all ages will delight in the variety of breeds that live at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, including Appaloosas, Arabians, Belgians, Clydesdales, paint horses, Percherons, and quarter horses, plus Shetland Ponies.
From big draft horses to fancy white wedding ponies, horses have long been an integral part of the Disney experience.
A small section of the Tri-Circle-D stables is open to the public. You can visit several of the horses in their stalls.
You can also take pony rides, guided trail rides, and carriage/wagon rides.
There is also a Galliope from 1907 that even has the Walt Disney Company Logo on it.
