The vekoma SLC what is that exactly? SLC stands for 'Suspended Looping Coaster.' An inverted coaster (suspended roller coaster) a model of Vekoma. The model is known for being painful and inflexible.
When Walibi Flevo El Condor opened the SLC's first Prototype opened on 5/1994 the track had 3 trains one red, one blue and one yellow.
Due to an error in the brake-run, a minor incident happened from then on they took a train off. The incident was on July 6, 1994.
𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭...The second open SLC in the world is located in (Six Flags) 'Kentucky Kingdom', Kentucky United States; 'T3' opened on 5/1995.
The funny thing is that with the Prototype the 'Catwalk' (evacuation/maintenance stairs) is above your head? Instead of next to the trains which is more common with inverts.
That's why an aerial platform has to come to the Prototype to be able to evacuate you!

Vekoma has made the SLC model modern since 2018, which is now called; STC 'Suspended Thrill Coaster,' More modern, smooth and comfortable trains, many times better than an SLC.
The very first STC, opened this year (2020) in the amusement park 'Tripsdrill'
called Cleebronn Germany; "Hals-über-Kopf."
The second STC will open in 'Tayto Park,' Ashbourne Ireland expected 2022/2023.
