My amusement park love started when I saw a documentary of a man called 'Coaster Dan' who held his world record on the coaster Alpengeist in Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. By making as many trips as possible in one day. The documentary aired on the National Geographic Channel in 1997. I wanted to do Alpengeist from that day on, but it was the first to be Invert 'El Condor' Walibi Flevo then.

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭...Alpengeist is the only B&M Invert with a Zero-Car?

What does a Zero-Car mean?

A roller coaster train usually has 8 coaches (car) starting with number one. Alpengeist has one more place, only there are no seats. Since then they call all the fronts, of all kinds of roller coaster trains where you can't sit, "Zero-Car(s)"

In an interview with Eric Berra of B&M, he explains; the "Zero-Car" could be used to provide more seats than previous inverted roller coasters. Also, fans said; The 'Zero-Car' "myth" on Alpengeist was due to its speed, not its length.
